Glowfilm Company, located in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand, is a business involved in the import-export of PVC shrink film, all types of film, plastics, printing materials and equipment. The office is situated within the factory premises, which houses a total of 20 machines. The installation of solar panels on the factory roof helps to reduce electricity costs and enhance market competitiveness.

Project challenge
The factory has its office located in the same area as the production facility and operates more than 20 machines on its production line. These machines run 24 hours a day, resulting in relatively high monthly electricity costs.


Solution
After the factory installed 998.4 kW of AIKO’s 650W Comet 2U solar panels, monthly electricity costs decreased by as much as 500,000 THB, significantly reducing our electricity expenses.
